Ice Cream Review Part 3

We have been trying (and reviewing) a lot of Korean ice cream! We pretty much grab everything we can find that is on discount (but avoid red bean options now).

Roast Sweet Potato Latte

“Oh it doesn’t have a shell. Well it is very cold and icy, hard to bite into. Very sweet. strong flavor. Sweet potato-y but also like it has tons of cinnamon and other things. It’s really almost too much but I think it is not so much that I cannot finish.” -Briana

“I don’t want this. I don’t want this. You can have it. It tastes like a frozen sweet potato. That taste should be hot and covered in butter.” -Kyle

Buon Gelato Macaron

“It’s like an ice cream moonpie.” -Kyle

“Wow, this is good. The outer layer is like a brownie. It is just really good in general.”             -Briana

Strawberry Green Apple Pouch

“This is not super easy to eat. It doesn’t want to come out. Basically it was like a popsicle.” -Kyle

“Tastes pretty artificial like a popsicle but good.” -Briana

Hazelnut Bar:

“Cold. But good. I like the taste. It’s nice. I am not sure what the little yellow things are in here.” -Briana

“Pretty good and creamy. The nut was.. it actually kind of tasted a little fruity to me. It was pretty good, but when it comes to nut-based ice creams it wasn’t really my thing, though I did like the caramel.” -Kyle

Korean words Delicious Dessert Bar:

“Wow, this is good. Great chocolate outside, seems decent quality and nice taste of ice cream.”  -Briana

“I thought it was very much like an ice cream chocolate moon pie. The shell was good and chocolatey but it was kind of soft in a certain way.” -Kyle

Cafe Presso:

“There are some little nuts in there on top. The ice cream quality is fine. The brown stuff on the sides has the coffee taste which is really good.” -Briana

“Um, it’s alright. It tastes like an ice cream coffee, but it almost tastes as if the coffee were burnt.” -Kyle

Chocolate Ice Bar

“It was very good. Soft, fudgy, chocolate. It was two sticks, so easily sharable.” -Kyle

“This is good, it also reminds me of a fudgsicle.” -Briana

Solid Coffee Bar Premium Blend

“I’m trying to breathe on it to soften it. This is pretty good. It’s basically like a big frozen latte or something like that.” -Kyle

“Oh wow. that’s good. I really don’t like how I have to get it out of the packaging. It’s a little hard to eat. It’s softer though and more edible than some more frozen ones. The texture and flavor are good.” -Briana

Papico Chocolate:

“Another good fudgy type bar.” -Briana

“It’s got a nice dark chocolate exterior. The interior has a good, just kind of soft, chocolate ice cream.”  -Kyle

Meta Strawberry

“It’s got very good strawberry taste, kind of softer, almost soft serve ice cream, very much roasted peanuts with a little bit of like caramel on it which is a nice contrast in flavor, good shell, waffle cone. It’s decent, standard, ice cream.” -Kyle

“I really like strawberry and chocolate together so I was pretty excited about this one. Plus it looks similar to the others I really like (like Goo Goo cone the marshmallow one, etc.). The ice cream is good, the chocolate on it is good, I would say everything is good.”      -Briana
